STI Checks

Screening and treatment for Sexually Transmitted Infections (STIs)

Targeted screening for men who have sex with men (MSM), couples and individuals. These can be as a routine check or following a sexual exposure.

Testing will include:

Sexual history (who, when, where and what)
Examination for herpes simplex virus, chlamydia, gonorrhea and human papilloma wart virus (HPV)
Serological testing for hepatitis, HIV and syphilis
PAP with HPV, anal cytology with HPV testing
Vaccination advice
Safe sex advice

Treatment of all STIs:

Genital warts (HPV)
Molluscum Contagiosum
Herpes (HSV)
Chlamydia
Gonorrhoea
Mycoplasma
Syphilis
Hepatitis
HIV (s100 prescriber available)
