ThermiVa which is a temperature controlled radio frequency device that treats the vulvovaginal region restoring moisture and elasticity to the vaginal canal, improving mild/moderate stress urinary incontinence (SUI), reduction in overactive bladder symptoms and helping to improve sexual function.  ThermiVa safely and effectively treats both the internal and external vulvovaginal areas including the labia majora and labia minora, as well as the nerve bundle and glans.  ThermiVa offers an alternative for female rejuvenation that is non surgical, non invasive and pain free. There is no downtime and no anaesthetics are required.

How it works?

Applying RF heat stimulates new collagen and elastin formation both internally and externally. This contracts the pubocervical fascia, tightening it and providing a firmer floor for the urethra to compress against when patient coughs or sneezes.

Increased blood flow results in the formation of natural vaginal discharge that originates from the arterioles of the vaginal and vulvar tissue as well as improving nerve function and vulvar sensitivity. The new tissues are softer, more pliable and elastic to allow progressive stretching of the formally rigid vaginal opening and canal.

Treatment Focus

1. Vaginal Laxity: To tighten the vagina at the introitus and the full length of the vaginal canal.
2. Vulvar/Labial Laxity: To tighten the labial tissues and reduce noticeable sag.
3. Vaginal/Vulvar Dryness or Atrophic Vaginitis: To add softer thicker skin and relieve dryness without the use of hormones.
4. Mild to moderate stress incontinence: To reduce accidents and leakage and possibly reduce urge symptoms. Should be used in conjunction with Kegel exercises.
5. Sexual dysfunction: To increase sensitivity and strengthen muscular contraction, leading to greater sexual satisfaction.
