MA.,MBBS.,DRCOG.,DCH.,MRCGP Dr Stephen Adams was trained at Cambridge University and Guys’ Hospital, London, qualifying as a doctor in 1982. He undertook General Practice training gaining diplomas in obstetrics & gynaecology, family planning, and child health. He was elected MRCGP in 1987. He worked in full time General Practice in West Sussex from 1986 to 1994 when he emigrated to Australia.
He is currently medical director of Integrated Sexual Health. This clinic provides assessment and treatment of all aspects of sexual health and is actively involved in education and research. He has recently become an s100 prescriber of HIV drugs.
Stephen is sought-after as a lecturer, educator and writer. He is a tutor at the University of Notre Dame, a member of the International Society of Sexual Medicine and the International Society for the Study of Women’s Sexual Health. He has served on Advisory Boards for Pfizer Australia, Janssen Pharmaceuticals and as a member of the Asian Pacific Erectile Dysfunction Experts Panel. Stephen consults full time at the clinic, both as a general practitioner and sexual health specialist.
